Home-from-Home Aberdeen Bistro

Welcoming guests to Bev’s is like inviting people to my home dining room. I want everyone to feel like friends and family as soon as they walk through the door, which is why you’ll find the atmosphere cosy and relaxed.

New menus & artisan sharing platters

There is nothing as nourishing for the soul as enjoying good food around a table with your nearest and dearest.

Good company is perfectly paired with good food, and it’s my honour to introduce you to new flavours in my European-inspired sharing menus. You’ll discover home-cooked favourites with tantalising twists, all served with love at my home-from-home wee bistro in Aberdeen.

Sharing stories and laughing together whilst passing around delicious, home-cooked dishes and soaking up the atmosphere – sit back, relax, and feel connected.

We’d love to welcome you to one of our tables – you can make a reservation at our cosy bistro restaurant on Holburn Street, Aberdeen, through the website; choose ‘Reserve a table’ in the menu. Bistro dinners are served from 5.30pm to 10pm Wednesday to Saturday.

We operate a bring your own bottle policy which has a surcharge of £2.50 per person, rather than per bottle.

Sample Menus

Our ingredients are carefully sourced from renowned Aberdeen farmers markets, local butchers, fishmongers and green grocers, so you can be sure of daily-fresh, home-cooked food with maximum taste. We can also cater for dietary requirements and special requests, including gluten free foods, vegetarian and vegan diets.

Please note: from time to time, we may make minor changes to your food order due to availability from small, independent suppliers. Replacements may be made at the discretion of the head chef.

Bev’s Bistro has also been designated as wheelchair accessible, including our bathroom, and there are no stairs to worry about inside the restaurant. We also gladly accommodate guide dogs and other assistance dogs that you or your guests may rely upon.

We can also cater for dietary requirements and special requests, including gluten free foods, vegetarian and vegan diets. Just ask us when you make a booking.

Tasty takeaways

Fancy a night off from cooking but want to avoid unsatisfying fast-food? We are one of the few places to eat in Aberdeen that delivers restaurant quality food to your door. Choose from our full bistro menu of hot foods, afternoon teas, or any of our sweet treats, and you can either arrange collection or request delivery within a 20-mile radius. Simply order online – there’s no minimum order value.

If you’re visiting us by car to dine in or make a collection, you’ll find the nearest car park on Fonthill Road (approximately a 7 minute walk). On-street parking is also available. We recommend looking at Parkopedia Aberdeen to view all the available parking spaces and charges – use the Bistro’s postcode, AB10 6BP.

Bev’s Bistro Restaurant Reviews

“I can’t recommend Bev’s enough. After going to Bev’s for a socially-distanced birthday last month, I was blown away by the food, amazing customer service and value for money. I decided to give the ‘dine from home’ a go and wasn’t disappointed. From start to finish, Bev delivered excellent customer service and communication – from asking what my favourite foods were, to taking my order out to my car on collection. The food was just out of the oven and ready to serve – brilliant for a Saturday night when I didn’t want to cook.”

Rachael Moore

“I had a meal here last Saturday for a friend’s birthday and as a first-time visitor I cannot fault the place. Bev and her team went above and beyond for all of us, whilst maintaining all government guidelines for Covid-19. The food was fantastic, the amount we were given for the price we paid was unreal, and I know she catered to particular requests for certain individuals too. I will 100% be going here again and again, and if I’ve not sold anyone on the idea with this review alone then I should probably mention that the ‘bring your own booze’ option is the icing on top of a rather delicious cake. Try it out and support small local businesses in tough times – you won’t regret it.”

Kerry Storey

“Can I say a huge shout-out to Bev and her team? In these very strange times we find ourselves in, we celebrated our golden wedding there today and it was just what we wanted. Only our direct family, mostly for safety reasons. The food was to die for, their attention to safety was first class, and the banter with the family and children was superb. This is a place I will go to again and again, so much so that I’m just about to order an afternoon tea for next week for my visitors. If you get a chance, go. It’s homely but the food is of the highest quality I’ve had in a long time.”
